James qualified with a B.Comm, H.Dip.Acc CA (SA) in 1994 after completing his articles with Ernst & Young in Johannesburg. Thereafter, he worked for Rand Coal as a financial Accountant on corporate finance deals.

He established a wealth management, international structures and taxation practice in Johannesburg between 1996 and 2004, with extensive involvement in UK residential and commercial property deal structuring.

He is a Director of Inventure Property Projects, with over 20 years of experience in assisting people with sourcing, buying, financing, and selling their UK residential properties.
